Funding Success

It has been a busy time for us preventing homelessness, providing practical help to those moving from being homeless into their own accommodation and emotional support for those in a sudden crisis. We could not do this without financial assistance. To Running Somewhere Else, we cannot thank you enough for the amazing fundraising efforts of in excess of £2,500. You are not only 'somewhere else' you are simply something else - awesome.

Our Seaside Trip

Arranging a day out for almost 150 of our Cirencester Signpost friends takes a significant amount of effort. Thanks to everyone who helped put together a brilliant day to Weston Super Mare, it was a delight to see all the happy faces.

Opening of the Croft - Emergency Accomodation for the Homeless

A good news day with the opening of the Croft, which will provide emergency accommodation to the homeless and vulnerable in our community.

Thanks to Bethan and Chauncy of Cotswold District Council (pictured with Steve and Graham) for all their efforts behind the scenes in making this day happen. To our supporters for enabling us to put together wash kits to make everyone especially any children feel special upon their arrival, we couldn't do this without you.

First Anniversary of our Food Share Fridge and Freezer serving 750 meals

We are celebrating the first anniversary (April 2019) of our Food Share Fridge and Freezer, where in partnership with M&S in Dyer Street, surplus food that is still in date but would otherwise have been discarded is turned into hot meals for the most vulnerable in our community.

Throughout the year over 750 meals have been served at our Good Neighbour sessions which take place every Monday and Wednesday. In addition, we are pleased to announce our new partnership with Triple Two Coffee of Cricklade Street who are making available sandwiches, wraps, salads and yoghurts.

New Year Food Parcels

We were extra busy at our New Year breakfast with 75 food parcels handed out to the community. So grateful for our partnerships with local Waitrose and M&S Stores who supplied a vast number of trays of fresh vegetables and fruit.

Special thanks to Cirencester Foodbank, St. James's Place and Paternoster House for their donations. Even our furry friends were looked after.
